An Indefinite Narrative Project on Human Presence

“We walk here, only to meet there.”

ZHUA STREET invites artists, filmmakers, and observers worldwide to contribute to an evolving, infinite digital archive. We are not looking for landmarks; we are looking for “The Presence.” This project is a cross-border examination of the street as the smallest unit of human civilization. We invite you to capture the vital inertia of people—how they occupy space, how they move in silence, and how they coexist within the urban fabric.

1. THE CORE FOCUS

We seek works that capture the “shared humanity” found in the mundane rhythms of the street. Your lens should focus on the person, the pace, and the pause—the universal commonalities that make every street a shared living room for mankind.

2. SUBMISSION CATEGORIES

  • [Motion & Inertia] (Video/Film): Clips of any duration capturing the natural flow of life. Eye-level perspectives are highly encouraged.
  • [Static Presence] (Photography): High-resolution captures of the relationship between humans and their immediate street environment.
  • [Digital Resonance] (AI & New Media): Works that deconstruct street textures or use AI to explore the virtual boundaries of public space.
  • [Street Echoes] (Soundscape): Raw ambient recordings or human vocal samplings from specific street coordinates.

3. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

To maintain the integrity of our “Street to Street” dialogue, please adhere to the following:

  • Perspective: Aim for “Eye-level”机位 (simulating the gaze of a passerby).
  • Metadata: Each submission must include the Geographic Coordinates (Lat/Long) or Street Name, City, and Date of capture.
  • Naming Convention: ZHUA_City_Street_Date_ArtistName
  • Quality: 1080p/4K for video; High-res JPEG/TIFF for images. Raw, unedited textures are preferred over heavy filters.

4. ARTIST RIGHTS & PARTICIPATION

  • Permanent Archive: Accepted works will be officially inducted into the ZHUA STREET Global Digital Archive.
  • Exhibition: Featured works will be displayed in our ongoing Virtual Gallery and future physical experimental exhibitions.
  • Co-Creation: Selected footage may be processed by our AI Co-Curator to create cross-temporal visual dialogues.
  • Copyright: Artists retain full copyright. ZHUA STREET is granted non-exclusive rights to exhibit and promote the work within the project’s framework.
